Becky Warren helped found and then recorded with the Great Unknowns (2004 - Presenting....) a Boston alt-country band, who didn't record again 'til their 2nd release, Homefront, in 2012. The story of Becky's time away from music is a personal one, distilled and clarified by the story of the characters presented in Warren's solo debut, War Surplus (just out). She's passing though the area this weekend and will stop by the WMBR studios to perform live with her band this morning at 9:30am.
