PATNAUSEAM (PatDemic Edition): LEAVE ME ALONE
Hosted by:
Originally aired:
Peter Hook describes Leave Me Alone, off of New Order's 1983 sophomore release "Power, Corruption & Lies," as "My favourite New Order song ever." With good reason. The song commences with Peter's lead bass in his distinctive upper register and then proceeds around Bernard Sumner's po-faced deadpan vocals. Against all odds, we've assembled two hours of covers, influences and residue.
