The second annual "Celebrate Woodstock" concert performed by the local Workingman's Band and guests will be commemorating the 46th anniversary of the legendary 1969 festival Friday evening August 21'st at Arts at the Armory in Somerville.
The tribute concert will include music originally performed at Woodstock by artists including Canned Heat, Arlo Guthrie, Richie Havens, Joe Cocker, The Grateful Dead, Joan Baez, Janis Joplin, Country Joe & the Fish, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Band, Paul Butterfield, The Who, and Jimi Hendrix.
Members of the band and guests are scheduled to visit host Eli Polonsky for a live interview at 12:45 PM about the concert and Woodstock remembrances, and local bands they were involved with in the Boston area in the late '60s including Catharsis and the Apple Pie Motherhood Band.
