ARIADNE is a sacred music duo from Brooklyn, NYC comprised of Christine Lanx and Benjamin Forest. By interspersing the ritualism of ancient spirituality and the secular iconography of the post-modern, ARIADNE flawlessly bridges the two worlds through their intricate musical compositions, striking digital visuals, and captivating live performances. Asha Sheshadri is a multimedia artist out of Southern California and Philadelphia, and Isolde Touch is her solo project. She experiments with computer, voice, text and video synthesis to explore the relationship between sonic and visual. Harsh rhythmic elements are layered with lush vocal counterpoint, illuminating the intersection between the soft and abrasive, the naturally-occurring and machine-generated.
