Ampersand Concert Series: Forma & Nightime Sunshine

Join WMBR and the List Visual Arts Center for Ampersand, Ampersand, a collaborative concert series that showcases contemporary music in Bartos Theater on MIT's campus. Forma, from Brooklyn, makes a combustible mixture of lush synth explorations and frenetic rhythm. They have captivated the margins of the international synth scene since their acclaimed 2011 debut on John Elliott's Spectrum Spools label. Forma's celebrated live performances incorporate techno, noise, and synth music into improvisational journeys veering from the ecstatic to the foreboding. Opener Nightime Sunshine, based locally, is a psychedelic music / video project led by Jesse S. Gallagher, formerly of Apollo Sunshine.
