"The Last Waltz Live" is a live recreation by local, regional and national artists of The Band's 1978 concert film "The Last Waltz", documenting the 1976 "farewell concert" of their original lineup, joined by legends including Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, The Staple Singers, and many more.
The concert is at The Regent Theatre in Arlington Friday, September 30 at 8 PM, and is a benefit for the non-profit organization Mended Little Hearts of Boston. Others performing, led by the Reverend Tor Band, include Gary Backstrom, Charley Carrozo, Sweet Willie D, Chris Fitz, Nikki Howard, Jim Infantino, Chris Nemitz, Brian O'Connell, Adam Micheal Rothberg, Vinny Serino, Louisa Wimberger, and Vykki Vox.
