Hayley Thompson-King received a Master's degree in Opera Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. While studying there she also performed in the group Banditas, a mix of garage, country and devotional music. Her first solo album, Psychotic Melancholia, comes out September 1. On the 30th she'll be in the Calderwood Courtyard, opening for Traveller. On the 31st she's at Loretta's Last Call (8pm) for a release party for this new collection of songs. She'll have the full band that night and will also be joined by These Wild Plains and the Mallett Brothers Band. This morning she joins me at 9:30am for some live music and conversation.
