Lesley Kernochan is a wonderfully inventive musician. She began her recording career with an a cappella album with friends in Portland, Oregon. Then came a children's music collection, followed by a pop/jazz set of songs. Her latest release, A Calm Sun, put her on my musical radar (finally). It's a little bit country, a little bit folk and a little bit of a lot of other things, too. She's in town this morning in the middle of an east coast tour, and has graciously agreed to stop by this morning to play some of her music and talk about her view of music and sharing it with others. She'll be on at 9:30am.
