Will Kimbrough drops by WMBR's 3 Ring Circus at 5:00 p.m.
A multi-talented musician and producer, Will Kimbrough fronted Will & the Bushman back in the mid-80s tearing up the South from his home base of Mobile, Alabama. In the 90s, he moved to Nashville and formed the Bis-quits with Tommy Womack who he reunited with recently for the scorching live release Daddy at the Women's Club, where it is rumored they were banned from the club after the performance. In between he's toured with Jimmy Buffett, Rodney Crowell, Amy Rigby and many others. A talented producer, Kimbrough produced Adrienne Young's Plow to the End of the Row and Todd Snider's masterpiece East Nashville Skyline. When not busy supporting others on both sides of the board, Kimbrough has release a string of solo efforts including his latest, EP, which he will treat 3 Ring Circus listeners to (and whatever he conjures up from his big ole' musical goodie bag). We're thrilled to have him join the 'circus.
