Host Eli Polonsky makes a one-off return to the Tuesday "Lost & Found" for his '60s/'70s psychedelic Halloween special, and at 12:30 PM, a live telephone interview with singer-songwriter-guitarist Joey Molland, the sole surviving original member of British rock band Badfinger, having joined them prior to their name change from The Iveys in 1969.
Badfinger had four Top 15 USA hits in their early '70s heyday, collaborated with members of Apple Records bandmates The Beatles, and released several successful albums through the 1970's. Though tragedy has taken all other original Badfinger members, Molland continues to keep the Badfinger legacy alive with his new band, celebrating the 45'th anniversary of their most successful album "Straight Up" in its entirety and more at The Regent Theatre in Arlington this Friday, November 3.
Listen for your chance to win tickets, and for your chance later this week to pledge for tickets to support WMBR during our annual fundraising week from November 2nd - 8th!
