How does one even begin to encapsulate the close to 50-year existence of the San Franciscan troupe known as The Residents? Claiming to be a concept as opposed to a band, and continuing to insist on total anonymity by wearing eyeball and other masks in every public appearance, they have released a never ending onslaught of albums, videos, and multi-media documents. Their musical presentations are among the strangest on this earth, darkly comedic and disturbing. Homer Flynn is as close, so to speak, as one can get to the band, and these two hours will feature our interview and associated music. The Residents descend upon the Brighton Music Hall in Allston, MA on Saturday, April 27th. Hosted by Bob Dubrow.
Location: 88.1 FM
