Jesse Colin Young was a founding member of '60s-early '70s band The Youngbloods, perhaps best known for their indelible rendition of "Get Together," an anthem of peace that still resonates today. Jesse himself first appeared on record with two solo discs in '65 and '66, released seven Youngbloods albums, and then continued his solo career in 1972, delivering a steady flow of lovely records throughout the decade. He's continued on since and is now on tour with seven graduates from the Berklee School of Music in Boston, including his son Tristan on bass. He's got four (!) dates in the area: Shalin Liu in Rockport , MA (May 17), City WInery in Boston (May 18), Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, NH (May 18), and Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA (May 26). Hosted by Bob Dubrow.
