Who hasn't heard those blockbusters "Hanky Panky" and "Crimson and Clover"? They were but two of the many hits that Tommy James and his Shondells racked up in the '60s, not to mention the many more that James managed as a solo performer. Tommy has a story like none other: his career with Roulette Records, run by mobster Morris Levy, is one laced with exhilaration and fear. His book, "Me, the Mob, and the Music," was published seven years ago, but it still resonates. Our interview is interspersed with a boatload of Top 40 hits (and a handful that are not)...tune in before the movie comes out! Hosted by Bob Dubrow.
