Elisa Smith grew up in Illinois, moved to Boston to attend Berklee (where she graduated), went on to study Arts Education at Harvard. She met Garth Brooks at a talk while at Harvard and he encouraged her to continue with her music. She and her band will perform a live set of songs this morning and then chat with me afterwards. She'll be on at 9:30am.
