Brennen Leigh is from the cold north country of Minnesota and North Dakota, though she now resides in Austin. She has had 3 cds out in the last several years and recently finished up a stealth tour of the North East with a stop at the Thirsty Ear at MIT and as part of one of Alistair Moocks songwriters-in-the-round shows at Johnny Ds. She stopped by the WMBR studios a couple weeks ago with her band mate and brother, Seth Hulbert, to chat about their recent tour and her latest musical project -- a duet cd with Jesse Dayton (due out this summer). Brennen played a few tunes and discussed music and some of her influences and musical heroes with host Doug Gesler.
This pre-recorded interview/performance will begin at around 9:30am.
Location: 88.1 FM
