Legendary singer/songwriter Chip Taylor launched, Train Wreck Records earlier this spring with a national tour of The Train Wreck Revue, which in addition to Taylor, features guitarist John Platania and singer/fiddler Kendel Carson.
Chip Taylor has had an amazing career in music as a songwriter, performer and producer. He's arguably best-know for writing some landmark songs such as Wild Thing, Angel of the Morning and Try (Just a Little Bit Harder), among others.
John Platania is a well-known guitarist who has played on a number of Van Morrison albums, including the classic hits Moondance and Domino, and is currently a member of Morrison's touring band, too. He's been a regular member of Chip Taylor's band since 1973.
Kendel Carson, a 22-year-old Canadian discovery, has been a professional musician for over a decade, beginning as a trained classical violinist at the age of three in her hometown of Victoria, BC. She has been a featured guest soloist with the Victoria Symphony and a member of the acclaimed National Youth Orchestra of Canada.
It's a special treat to have these amazing players join us on the 'Circus.
