Originally aired:
John Doe (X/Knitters) will join WMBR's Three Ring Circus (3RC) at around 5pm.
John Doe returns to the 3RC, this time bringing a couple of bandmates to talk about and play selections from his latest release "A Year in the Wilderness" (Yep Roc). And of course, anything else he wants.
Doe has a wealth of material and stories to draw upon. His career successes are numerous, including founding the seminal LA punk outfit X, kicking punk to the side with his alter-ego/country outfit, the Knitters, his string of critically acclaimed solo work (Meet John Doe, Forever Hasn't Happened Yet), and gracing both the small and silver screens. So much to talk about and play... so little time. The half hour is going to zip by, just like the last time. Not to be missed.
