Hank Williams' 1949 song is the sound of heart being wrenched. It also could be the anthem of the current pandemic - a wail of despondency and remote heartache. Rightfully regarded as one of the best (country) songs ever written, lyrics are inexorably linked with death-soaked visage of Williams. Which may be ironic given that Williams did not actually write the lyrics (he paid for the rights to claim credit). We'll hear two hours of variations on this theme
