Taking inspiration from Zakir Hussein, Jeff Buckley, and Beck, Yoav weaves sounds from around the musical spectrum and from around the world. No wonder, the Israeli born and NYC based, by way of Cape Town, South Africa and London, artist feasted on modern rock, hip hop, folk and electronic dance music. He's caught the ear of Verve Forecast who will release his debut "Charmed & Strange" in early 2008. But today, at about 5pm, he'll bring his guitar and musical delicacies to the WMBR studios before his show at the Orpheum opening for Tori Amos.
