After a trio of shows around LONESOME songs, we pivot to a month of TOGETHER tunes. One of the earliest hippy dippy anthems was the mid-60s jangle jingle "Let's Get Together" written by Chet Powers, aka Dino Valenti, aka Dino Valente of Quicksilver Messenger Service. A bicoastal hit about Love Conquering All, it has been rendered by Youngbloods, Jefferson Airplane, and many other artists in a variety of styles. We'll listen to a few dozen of the more than hundreds of versions circulating.
