Jenee Halstead Performs Live on WMBR's Lost Highway Program

Local chanteuse Jenee Halstead stops in today to sing a few songs from her debut release of this past Spring - The River Grace. While the cd's conquered the folk charts, the music is broader and more modern - containing elements of Americana and blues with something of an indie sense at times. Beautiful vocals, fine lyrics, some killer songs and exquisite instrumentation have made the cd one of my faves this year. She's promoting her upcoming show at Club Passim on the 29th. Stop in this morning for a listen to one of the finer new voices around our town.
