David Bromberg Interviewed Live on WMBR's Lost & Found Program

Singer/songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist David Bromberg will be interviewed by telephone by host Eli Polonsky beginning at about 12:30 PM! David began studying guitar as a teenager in the late 1950s, and in the 1960s he drifted into the Greenwich Village folk scene, where learned from the Reverend Gary Davis. The comprehensive list of musicians that he has performed or recorded with over the following four decades includes Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Tom Paxton, Jerry Jeff Walker, Al Kooper, Jorma Kaukonen, Tom Rush, Jerry Garcia, John Prine, Doug Sahm and Willie Nelson, among many others. David currently tours in different configurations including his Quartet, his Big Band, solo, and as a member of the group Angel Band. The David Bromberg Quartet and Angel Band will be performing (with Paul Rishell & Annie Raines opening) this Friday, February 23, at the First Parish Church, Harvard Square, Cambridge. The concert is sold out!
