Kerri Powers Performs Live on WMBR's Lost Highway Program

Kerri Powers is a musical gem that's gone unnoticed for too long. She played music, wrote and toured some years ago and then stopped to raise her son. A couple of years ago she decided that music, her music, was something she had to get back to, so she got together with producer Crit Harmon and made a great new cd -- "Faith In The Shadows" -- and began performing live again. She was a songwriting finalist at Kerrville last year, toured in northern Europe (w/ Fred Eaglesmith) and had a couple of songs that appeared on FX's "Rescue Me." This morning she'll stop by with all 3 of her band mates, play some songs and introduce herself to all who join on the ride on the Highway, starting at 9:30 AM.
