Two legends of folk-rock, Jonathan Edwards and Jesse Colin Young, are scheduled to appear on "Lost & Found" with host Eli Polonsky as part of WMBR's 2010 fundraising drive!
Jonathan Edwards is scheduled for a live interview and performance in the WMBR studios beginning around 12:30 PM! Originally from Minnesota, Jonathan began performing as a teenager in Virginia and in college in Ohio, then drifted to the Boston folk-rock scene in the late 1960s. Jonathan's solo career began with his first self-titled album in 1971 including the Billboard #4 hit "Sunshine", still frequently played on radio today. Jonathan has since released 15 albums spanning folk-rock, country-rock and bluegrass styles, and continues to tour worldwide.
Jesse Colin Young is scheduled for a live telephone interview at around 1:30 PM! Originally from Queens, NY, Jesse released his first album "Soul Of A City Boy" in 1964, and formed The Youngbloods in the mid-'60s Boston/New York folk-rock scene. Their version of the counterculture anthem "Get Together" became a Billboard #5 hit in 1969, and they released several successful albums before disbanding in 1972. Jesse launched his solo career in the early '70s, has released over a dozen popular albums, and has recently resumed touring.
