Dave Gonzalez, who played with the Paladins as well as the Hacienda Brothers, and Mike Barfield (the Tyrant of Texas Funk), who played with the Hollisters, were my guests at the end of last month on their swing through town with their new project - The Stone River Boys. Cow Island Music trail boss, Bill Hunt, joined us as we talked about the formation of the Stone River Boys and how they landed up with Cow Island, as well as their particular take on country soul. They'll be on about 9:30.
