The ubiquitous Harlem Globetrotters anthem (recorded by Brother Bones in the 1940s) made yours truly regard Sweet Georgia Brown a novelty. But its provenance is as a 1920s hot jazz tune co-written by a member of the Harlem Renaissance. We'll hear two hours of versions that all seem to stylistically defy one another, as part of Subject to Change's ongoing Georgia tribute shows.
