Tom Finn of the Left Banke Interviewed on WMBR's Lost & Found Program

Was aired on the program: Monday, July 2, 2012
12:00pm - 2:00pm

In advance of the Left Banke's reunion appearance at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, NH, Lost & Found will devote the whole two hours of its July 2nd show to the music of the Left Banke as well as to over 50 minutes of an interview conducted by phone on June 18 with founding member Tom Finn. From Wikipedia: The Left Banke is an American baroque pop band that formed in New York City in 1965, disbanded in 1969, and reformed in 2011. They are best remembered for their two U.S. hit singles, "Walk Away Ren??e" and "Pretty Ballerina". The band often utilized what the music press referred to as "baroque" string arrangements, which led to their music being variously termed as "Bach-rock", "baroque rock" or "baroque 'n' roll". The band's harmonies borrowed from contemporaries such as The Beatles, The Zombies and other British Invasion groups.
