35th Anniversary Week Continues on WMBR's Late Risers' Club program

The Late Risers' Club celebrates 35 years on the air by honoring a different decade each half hour. Every day the dj will play music from the 70s (and "proto punk") from 10-10:30, the 80s from 10:30-11, the 90s from 11-11:30, and the rest from 11:30 to noon. It all wraps up on Friday, Sept. 21, beginning at 9PM at Radio in Somerville. A one time only band, the Shirt Lifters, comprised of local rock luminaries, will be covering classic punk rock, while Cocked n Loaded cover the heavier stuff. Downstairs Artie Freedman will show his videos of old Boston bands and we'll also screen the LRC documentary.
