Ampersand presents MEM1 and Cloud Ludum Ensemble

The fifth installment of Ampersand features sounds left of center from Mem1 and Cloud Ludum Ensemble. Mem1 is an electro-acoustic hybrid from Providence utilizing cello and electronics to create a seamless blend of harmony and cacophony. Also appearing will be guitar, vibes, and electronics trio Cloud Ludum Ensemble, led by russian guitarist Anastasiya Dumma. Cloud Ludum Ensemble merges the spontaneity of free improvisation within the language of contemporary chamber music. Both artists reflect the mood Chris Marker creates in his video art, which will be on display in the galley above Bartos Theater until 8PM (when the performance starts).
