Members of "The Last Waltz Live" Perform Live on WMBR's Lost & Found Program

"The Last Waltz Live" is a live recreation by local, regional and national artists of The Band's 1978 concert film "The Last Waltz", documenting the 1976 "farewell concert" of their original full lineup, joined by legends including Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, The Staple Singers, and many more. Local members of "The Last Waltz Live", guitarists/singers Gary Backstrom and Chris Fitz, are scheduled to join host Eli Polonsky for a live interview and preview performance of songs from the concert at 12:30 PM! The concert is at The Regent Theatre in Arlington Saturday, April 5th at 8 PM, and is a benefit for the non-profit organization Music In Common. Others performing at the concert, led by the Reverend Tor Band, include Vance Gilbert, Jim Infantino, Chris Nemetz, Charlie Carrazzo, Regie Gibson, Adam Michael Rothberg, Emily Grogan, Todd Mack, Marina Evans, Vinny Serino, Nikki Howard, Les Sampou, Vykki Vox, and Richard Cambridge.
