Songwriter Robert Ellis was born in a small town in Texas. From there he moved to Houston and then on to Nashville where he now resides with his wife. His third full recording, The Lights From The Chemical Plant (New West), combines the influences of the music from his home states and his love for the pop music he grew up with. He's opening for the Felice Brothers at the Sinclair Friday night (11th) and will stop by the WMBR studios this morning for a chat and to play a few songs. He'll be on at 9:30am.
